There are many virtual online games;
OurWorld is defiantly a new massive multiplayer virtual game that is fun to play. Log on, create your profile avatar and get going! OurWorld allows users and gamers to interact, and almost create an online second life.
Derrick Morton's Seattle-based Flow Play started up in January 2007. His company created OurWorld, a virtual world that can be accessed through a browser. He commented: "We saw there were about 100 million people each month playing games but by themselves, a very isolated experience," His thoughts followed, "what the market really needs is a place where people can play games together in a community." About 60 percent of ourWorld users are girls aged between thirteen and seventeen years old. OurWorld are targeting a unique audience, who tend to be under tapped; they are older than “word games” and younger than adult life.
Users can play games together, watch YouTube videos, and go to restaurants, shopping, and movie theatres, take up challenges, work, make a band and much more. It is available to play for free. However, to enjoy more benefits and extras, users can pay $5.99 a month to get more ways to interact with their friends.
With the current economy crisis, there are questions emerging for a new agenda of businesses that can generate a small regular, addictive income every month from the online gaming community. Interaction, solidarity and community being the new topics of discussion, OurWorld and other virtual multiplayer games have created the chance to apply interaction and community building from their own computer desk.
